SMART Goals
Congratulations, you’ve made it into the start of 2026! While you’re working on your goals and resolutions for the new year from a personal aspect, there are goals and objectives needed professionally as well. In doing so, work towards using the SMART method for your metrics, which are goals that are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound. A big part of that is, Attainable. We want to present stretch goals that challenge ourselves and our teams in the best

Reset, Renew, and Recharge
You’ve taken the time to reset, renew, and recharge, don’t throw it all away already as you return back to work. Chaos and ambiguity tend to reside in the workplace. What I Need From You Is Understanding
Leadership needs to live in a space of empathy. A space where we listen to understand, not to respond. Sitting in a leadership role is not intended to validate you being in the role, it is to work behind the scenes and coach your team to become autonomous. Sometimes you have to put your cape aside and be the Robin to someone’s Batman. Not all leaders wear capes! Check out my latest book, which is a leadership journal, The REALity of Interpersonal Leadership: A Guide to Leadin

POV... or YOUR perspective
POV… or YOUR perspective! These are the things perceived from your lens and intentions; however, they have a tendency to misalign with that of others. Yet, this is where grace intercedes. This self pulse check could cultivate better new ideas, streamlined processes, and more importantly, better relationships. Change your perspective and check my latest book, which is a leader

Choose Positivity
Choose positivity! Once you start to live in a negative space, it’s hard to recognize the positive in things or situations. For example, we can complain about how terrible work is to the point that we don’t give credit to an okay or great day. One starts to become conditioned to think and give a negative connotation to everything. Change your perspective and start seeing the lessons, opportunities, and possibilities of things. Again, choose positivity! Change your perspective
