We hear a lot about personal branding—but what does that really mean?

Think about some of the most recognizable brands in the world.

When you see the Nike swoosh or hear “Just Do It,” you immediately associate it with certain qualities—performance, excellence, determination, and achievement.

Now, think about yourself.

What do people associate with your name?

Is it perseverance?

Resilience?

Integrity?

Strong values?

Consistency?

Excellence?

Your personal brand is more than what you post on social media or what your résumé says.

It’s the reputation you build through how you consistently show up.

Every interaction.

Every decision.

Every challenge.

Every opportunity.

They’re all contributing to your brand.

We proudly wear and represent the brands of other companies every day—but are you putting the same level of intention into representing your own?

Ask yourself:

When my name comes up in a room I’m not in, what do I want people to say?

Then make sure your actions consistently reinforce that answer.

Build your brand intentionally. Protect it consistently. And make sure it authentically represents YOU.

Let’s continue to…

Lead authentically.

Lead intentionally.

Lead with impact.
