Are you leading by title… or by respect?

Many people assume the two automatically come together.
But having a leadership title doesn’t automatically earn you the respect of others.
Respect is built through how you lead, communicate, serve, and treat people.
It’s a two-way street.
The same principle applies to everyone within an organization—not just those in leadership positions.
Titles may give authority, but character, consistency, and integrity are what sustain influence.
So don’t assume respect comes with the position.
Earn it through your actions.
