It’s okay…

Some days, you’ll head into work and the figurative cape you wear as a leader will feel too heavy to put on.

Your energy may be low.

Your interpersonal capacity may feel depleted.

And your motivation may still be at home.

And guess what?

It’s okay.

Leadership doesn’t require you to pretend you’re at 100% every day. It requires enough self-awareness to recognize when you need support.

Let your guard down.

Lean on your peers.

Trust your team.

Delegate what doesn’t require your direct attention.

You hired and developed your team to execute—not simply to watch you carry every burden alone.

Delegation isn’t a weakness. It allows the development of your team and the establishment of trust. It creates space for you to regain focus, think strategically, and prepare for what’s coming next.

You don’t have to do it all.

Some days, you may not have as much to give—and that’s okay. Recognize where you are, give yourself grace, and take the steps necessary to reset.

A difficult day doesn’t make you a bad leader.

What matters is how you respond, recover, and return.

Lead authentically.

Lead intentionally.

Lead with impact.
