Leadership needs to live in a space of empathy. A space where we listen to understand, not to respond. Sitting in a leadership role is not intended to validate you being in the role, it is to work behind the scenes and coach your team to become autonomous. Sometimes you have to put your cape aside and be the Robin to someone’s Batman.
