A recent conversation got me thinking…

Someone mentioned taking on an additional task—but only if it came with more pay.

Fair question.

Are we only adding value when we’re being compensated for it?

So ask yourself:

✔️ How are you preparing for your next role in your current position?

✔️ Are you taking on stretch opportunities?

✔️ What’s setting you apart when it’s time for a promotion or merit increase?

Growth isn’t just about what you’re given—it’s about how you show up.
